WOD 5:00pm – Snatches Redux

Pre-WOD – walked in at 4:58pm to find – Jon’s Crazy Race
For women – as fast as you can
10 reps dumbell ground to overhead (I used a KB swing technique)
run the length of the gym – down and back with a sandbag
run the length of the gym – down and back with 2 35# kb
10 pushups
run the length of the gym – down and back

At least I had the pushups nailed.

WOD
Hang Power Snatches
32(2), 32(2), 32(2), 32(2),32(2)
Got pissed off at my speed and did 12(2), 12(7)
Discovered that I tend to ride the bar down. Vowed to stay tight through the whole motion (no bounce).
32(2), 32(2), 32(2)

Snatch Balances (to try to get under the bar faster)
32(2), 32(5). Jon’s comment – “Nice, now try to do it twice as fast.” I have work to do.

Overhead squat
12(5), 42(2 – Erin reminded me that I needed to do 3. Oops), 62(3), 67(3), 67(3), 62(3)
