Countdown – Week 1, Day 1


One of the most thought-provoking songs I’ve heard in awhile.
Congrats on the Oscar win – Trent Reznor.
On the countdown towards the first weekend of the NoVa Open (the new CrossFit sectionals).

NoVa Open format – 6 Saturdays from March 19 – April 23. Unfortunately, I get to miss the last day due to a wedding in Blacksburg.
It will be the first time actually setting foot on the Virginia Tech campus since I graduated in ninety-sumthin’sumthin’.
Depending on how the trip planning shakes out – I may try to make a visit to CrossFit Blacksburg.

The goal of all of this is to be able to finish what is asked of me. As of now – I’m kinda borderline. If things like handstand pushups (which I can do – but not quite WOD ready), muscle-ups and 135# thrusters appear in the WOD, I may be hosed.
WOD – rest day. Went into work early instead.

5 min per leg – KStar’s pain ball hamstring smashing.
My pain ball isn’t as pretty as his.
Sleep: 9:00pm – 5:00am. Time check at 3:30am and 4:30am
Stress: Medium. VERY productive day at work.
Fish Oil: 4 caps

Breakfast: coffee with almond milk. Palak Paneer

Lunch (Shanghai Peking) Mongolian beef with scallions and onions (lots of veggies and delicious cold), baby carrots, water

Dinner: Mahi mahi with garlic-stuffed olives, tomatoes and lemons. Spring greens. Water. Protein shake with greens +.

Tutorials – sent out for review. Received feedback and hope to do final draft edits tomorrow.
Putting vendor tutorials into hosted LMS – as non-functional as anticipated. Looks like that will be my work struggle this week.
