0530 Potomac – Oly Lifts Week 6 Day 2

– Greg Lake (ELP) – From the Beginning.

Was tempted to put up the 1974 California concert of him singing Still You Turn Me On.
I keep watching that video because I am mesmerized by his ability to sing like that + chew gum + play guitar.
Please don’t ask why.
5 min jump rope work. Best double-under attempt: 52. Matches PR from June 9

AMRAP 10 minutes at 35#
3 press
3 push press
3 push jerk
3 good mornings
3 high bar back squats
7 rounds

Snatch Push Jerk/Press (because I had a huge brain fart this morning)
55(2 – jerk) – 65(2-jerk) – 65(2-jerk) – 65(2-jerk) – 65(2-press) – 65(2-press)

Snatch Pull
65(2) – 85(2) – 85(2) – 85(2) – 85(2)
I need to make sure I don’t step back on these. I wouldn’t do that during the actual snatch attempt, so I shouldn’t start grooving that habit here.

Snatch DL
90(2) – 90(2) – 90(2) – 90(2)

Evening: 1 hr ice skating. I can get around the rink without mowing down 6 year olds. That’s about it.
Sleep: 9:00pm – 4:45am Solid until 3:00am. Really warm in our house last night.
Stress: Medium Low. Meetings, then lost all motivation to be productive. Probably because of the meetings.
Fish Oil: 3 caps
Alcohol (4/23): zero

Breakfast: coffee with milk and sugar, smoked trout

Lunch (Aroma): vegetarian thali, water

Snack: nectarine, coconut water

Dinner (Kettler IcePlex): Chik-Fil-A Chicken sandwich, water. Only thing I ever liked at Chik-Fil-A was the waffle fries. Opinion hasn’t changed

Snack: peach and banana protein shake

Morning of meetings and performance review work. Afternoon of attempts to recover lost motivation. Productivity fail.
