Back Squat
35(3) – 85(1) – 105(1) – 135(f) – 105(1) – 115(1) – 125(1) – 135(1) – 145(f)
Hip was really bothering me (still). Happy just to get 135.

Press
55(3) – 65(1) – 75(1) – 80(push jerk) – 80(push jerk) – 80(push jerk)
I am REAL close to getting 80 overhead using strict press. Not quite yet.

Deadlift
65(3) – 125(1) – 155(1) – 175(1) – 195(1) – 200(f)
Got 195 up pretty easily. 200 wasn’t budging.

Last time I did Crossfit Total – 435
This time (with 1 month off and hip issue) – 405. meh.

    Hey Wendy,
    Welcome back. I had a hip problem a year ago and it took a long time to heal. I had to learn to manage it with lots of stretching. Even now, if I don’t stretch after a squating or running workout, I can feel it. I’ve heard of several crossfitters that have had hip problems. Try not to get too discouraged. You will figure out what works for you.

    Also,
    Sectionals are coming in 3 months. Are you going to compete again this year?

    • Dorothy – not sure about Sectionals yet. I’ve had a lot of stuff happen this year that has impacted my training. I will probably make a decision about 1 month out.
